Chautauqua can be a place where a person ‘jumps off the world’ and immerses him/her self with a myriad of available opportunities that interests their mind and enriches their soul. People who have never been to Chautauqua should think of their accommodations as a place to rest and keep their belongings.
There are so many options of things to see, hear and do that if you are not sleeping – get out and experience Chautauqua – take advantage of all the things you paid for in your gate ticket! At Chautauqua many people are so busy feeding their soul [classes, lectures, plays, symphony, ballet, opera, tennis, golf, sailing, boating, shuffle board, yoga, meditation] they find it almost an intrusion to have to stop to feed their body!
We’re located across the street from the Chautauqua Institution Visitors’ Center and a block away from Bestor Plaza. The Chautauqua Amphitheatre and the Athenaeum are just a quick walk away as well. When you stay at The Cambridge, you’re in the heart of everything that’s happening.
We have all sorts of accommodations to suit your needs, from single rooms with shared baths to complete suites with private bath(s). We’ve organized the accommodations on the site in a couple of ways:
